This is ridiculous. Saddam Hussein should have been executed long ago. There is no doubt of his guilt, and it serves no purpose to pretend that there could be a shadow of a doubt attached to it.
A trial will prove nothing that is not already certain, just as it would have served no purpose to try Mao or Stalin -- just hang him and be done with it.
