Sen. Ken Salazar (D-Colo.) is making headlines for describing a conservative Christian group as the "antichrist," a comment he now says he regrets.
During an interview with a Colorado Springs TV station on Tuesday, Salazar said, "From my point of view, they [Focus on the Family] are the antichrist of the world."
Among other things, Salazar accused the group of organizing a protest at his family's Dairy Queen. But Focus on the Family said the protest was actually staged by a Denver church.
On Wednesday, press reports quoted Salazar as saying that he meant to describe Focus on the Family's approach as "un-Christian, meaning self-serving and selfish."
"I spoke about Jim Dobson and his efforts and used the term 'the anti-Christ,"' Salazar reportedly said in a written statement from his office. "I regret having used that term."

Too bad he ran against "beer man" or we would not have elected him. James Dobson and Focus on the Family simply urged to contact your Senator to ask him to call for a vote in the Senate on judicial nominees, and indicated that Salazar was involoved in the "mischief" of obstructionism.
I always give thanks to The One upstairs for a bowl of really good ice cream. If it were not for God giving us cows on earth, we'd not have such a yummy summer treat.

How many one term Senators can you name. Carol Mosley Braun is the only one I can come up with and she ain't from Colorado. Never happen. Two termer? Probably. That is the norm in recent Colorado history.
But she was a loudmouth idiot that made IL look stupid.
Salazar is doing the same stuff right now, and Coloradans don't seem as married to incumbents in the first place as their cohorts in the land of Lincoln.
I'm sure a lot of people didn't vote for the Beer Guy precisely because the guy peddles poison.
Although I wouldn't have voted for Salazr, I wouldn't have voted for Beer Guy either.
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if we went to a parliamentary form of Government...
And He gave us many more things to help us smile. Saw a perfect huge rainbow yesterday outside Raleigh, NC. I was staring at it directly (in the center seeing both ends clearly) as God had placed it right in front of me. Wasn't there went I went in to grab a sub, but BANG!, it was when I walked out.
