Who cares about this besides a few Rush listeners
I know there are a lot of Freepers who don't like and/or don't agree with Rush, and who think he is a hypocrite for his drug problems... but everyone who does not march in lock-step with the liberal establishment had better think about what is being done to him.
The libs are going after Rush because of his opposing political views and his success in pointing out all their nasty little secrets.
He has not been actually charged with any crime as far as I am aware. The prosecutors are going through his private medical records to try to find a crime to charge him with.
If they get away with it in his case, how long before they start randomly going through people's medical records looking for some potential crime? What's next?

And how is that any different than any other violation of civil liberties that has occured in the name of keeping our communities safe from drugs? IMO prosecutors are often some of the lowest pond scum on the face of the Earth because many of them make their career out of arguing why an otherwise decent person should be put away for years, life or executed all just to make a career. There was a doctor in northern virginia who got put away for life I think because he over-prescribed pain killers because people lied their asses off to him about the severity of the pain.
