This looks like this could be the BEST 'Batman' movie ever...imagine the NEW Batmobile participating in this race? It would LITERALLY crush the competition.

I'm with you.

Another race on another cookie-cutter speedway, mass marketed to the stay-at-home-never-actually-been-to-a-race crowd.

Where have you gone, Ned Jarrett, Richard Petty, Junior Johnson...

My sport has been stolen by Madison Ave., re-processed, and pre-packaged for people who think the new Monte Carlo is a great automobile.

My oldest son got me interested in NASCAR and is the real race fan. You sound like him.

I think NASCAR runs the risk of becoming a victim of their own success.

Things were already changing when Dale died but other things died with him.

I'm waiting for the day when the NASCAR craze crashes in the tonier parts of the country and us dumb ol' mouth-breathing Southern rednecks tell them to get bent when they try to come back to their roots. NASCAR has become the largest and fastest prostitution ring on earth.

I think the batmobile would be wicked loose in the corners and it will cause at least two extra cautions when the fins come off.

I guess he is. Never got into to it.

Ya know, compared to all the other major sports, NASCAR fans are still the best Americans.

I agree. A few races ago I was listening to the race coverage on the radio. A commercial break came up and it was for Wrangler or whatever brand jeans, "The official jeans of Dale Earnhardt Jr." I thought what would Dale Sr. think. Its gettin out of hand.
NASCAR does need to do something about the races at Michigan. They are awful. More excitement watching cars go through the local car wash. And to think they got rid of the Spring Race at Darlington.
We'll just have to call it progress.

Hell yeah! Batman effin rules. Having said that, I sympathize with the Freepers who see it as a dilution of their sport.
