W is not going to "see the light" or change his mind about anything now that he doesn't have to. That's the biggest problem about giving the White House keys to a guy two times in a row.
Where you and I would see a gang of shave-headed, tattooed thugs in muscle shirts he'd see a group of nice young amigos yearning to breathe free who only wish to do stuff we're not willing to (like selling drugs, weapons and children).
All we can do is try to reign him in via Congressional action. You have herded cats before, haven't you?
Anyone who says that the border can't be closed is lying through their teeth. The much poorer nation of India secured four times the distance we need to - at one tenth the projected cost. I would think that anyone desperate enough to illegally immigrate to India would have to be far needier than the "undocumented" we're seeing.
Yes, enough already. I have actually heard illegal immigrants who've been here a long time complain that the ones who keep coming are taking employment and driving down their wages. Boo hoo hoo.
The National Guard and Reserves are totally tied up by our nation's foreign policies. I believe we should be using the Guard for their intended purpose while our leaders either step up regular-service recruitment or declare victory somewhere.
Imagine. The mere presence of Mexican military on American soil is an act of war. After they fire on Americans, they are in essence told, take your weapons back so you can use them on us another day.
President Bush should hang his head in shame. So should Clinton. So should pappy. Mexico continues to be given the green light to invade us.
"With 15 million illegals I think we have enough to fill that need.
1 in 5 of our prison inmates are illegals, at $22,000 per year, per Zell Miller. That's more than enough!
Protect our borders and coastlines from all foreign invaders!
