This story is so surreal, it's not even funny. That woman is a failure as a wife and the British court system is an abysmal failure for prosecuting the husband. Perhaps it was rude of him to tape her without permission, but I don't see how that could be a crime. When my husband expels gas under the covers, I don't call the cops on him for assault. It's just one of those things you accept as a wife.
Why do people even marry anyway? Me, I'm a idealistic fool who believes marriage is a life-long union where a man and woman come together to live as one. Privacy is not an issue. If my husband wants to take naked pictures of me without my permission and use them for his own pleasure, that's his right as a husband. If he uses them for somebody else's pleasure, now that would be a violation of trust.
