I'll have to catch The Shield. We've never watched it but I've hard it's great; we'll tape it next week.
I can't watch even the violence on "24" but I just look away or if there's screaming, leave the room and hum to myself to I don't have to hear it. LOL
If you don't like violence FORGET The Shield. I"m not kidding. It is truly the most violent show on TV, and as you know, that's saying alot.
The Shield is raunchy... I watched it twice.
Makes me feel dirty...need a shower afterwards.
At least 24 stays w/in TV guidelines and STILL holds
our attention.
If you can't watch the violence on 24.......don't tune into The Shield.
