My wife went through the horrible hypocrisy of the immigration process. It is a joke. But it’s the creation of your beloved Liberals! The Liberals have no intention on improving immigration – unless it means allowing more psycho Arabs to get into Canada and then disappear.

I swear to God Canadians are a hopeless bunch. Bad enough 70% of us vote for communists.

Did you see that the Liberals rose from 25 to 43% last poll in BC. WTF? Not only are they communists, want to brainwash our children in government run daycare, don’t think victims of crime are important, refused to sign up for free missile defense, ran a foregone inquiry into BC offshore drilling, joined a socialist Kyoto scam, and run a hypocritical EI system; they are also the most corrupt government in all of Canadian history.

The only reasonable explanation is that Canadians will vote Liberals as a punishment for the CP calling an early election? If it is due to Martin’s crocodile tears on TV, then he is a brilliant strategist and Canadians have less sense than dairy cows.

"Did you see that the Liberals rose from 25 to 43% last poll in BC"

Polls? I don't think you're a true conservative. If we follow polls in the last election then Harper should be PM.

Polls are design to play with people's mind. You're falling for the Liberal trap Nelson.

Now our economy is not too bad, really.

As compared to what? Ireland, the US, Haiti?
What if we hadn't had $1-5 Billion stolen from our taxes?

I respect her position on the same-sex and pro-life issues

Something like 34 members of the Liberal party voted against same sex marriage.
Does that upset you too?

but nobody dare say Liberals/NDP are buying votes of CAW.

The Liberal and NDP parties of Canada ARE buying CAW votes.

There, I've said it.

I have not heard that Canada is at war.

So you haven't heard about terrorism, eh?

Perhaps you would be more comfortable at DU?

Can you clarify? External polls are an almost exact science. I may not like them, but...

Things obviously can change once an election is called. The CP could fight the Liberals with a dirty campaign, which works. Tell Canada that the Liberals only balanced the budget because they stopped funding health care to the provinces.

I think the CP has lost momentum and now is not the time to call an election. Martin is a master strategist and Canadians will fall for health care fear mongering once again. The CP should not have supported the budget to begin with. If they defeat it now they will lose credibility.

Of course they are. That is how they won Ontario last year. Brokered a deal to send taxpayer money to the auto industry. Lots of votes down there. I can't believe Canadians are bought with their own money. I'll give credit to Quebecers for not falling for that ruse.

your beloved Liberals

Well, well, I have never said I love Liberals. As you might guess, as a recent immigrant, I have been and actually am open to all parties and views except NDP. I have always had pretty conservative views. I have lived quite a lot under communism and socialism and you may understand I will never support NDP or Commies. In a sense, I am a natural supporter of the CP, but I am not. I am undecided. I cannot really support Liberals and I cannot support CP. That's may be part of the CP problem in Ontario. You may call us here stupid or bribed or scared by Liberals but it is the fact that CP support here is not as high as it could have been. The reason is really not that we are stupid but rather that the CP does not do enough to reach people here. What kind of people do we see here speaking on behalf of CP? Former Alliance people who are completely out of touch. Even you guys started to send me to DU (what's DU by the way? Dimwitted Underlings or Democratic Underground (c) Google?) instead of admitting that something might be wrong with you because people support even the corrupt and inefficient Liberal government more than CP.

Canada is not at war in the same sense as the US and I pray it will stay this way. Canada cannot spend beyond its means. The US will shake off their deficit problem in a few years' time. Japan and Gulf states will gladly offer new billions of dollars in exchange for protection and favours. Nobody will ever help Canada. If Canada goes the same way it will be buried for a long time and may never recover, war or no war.

Absolutely not but I think to make the same sex marriages a national priority is an extremely silly thing to do. Especially given the situation with the health care. Is there a single party which dare indeed to propose a real solution?

Thanks. Do you think there is any real chance of a conservative government north of the 49th?

I have always had pretty conservative views.

I guess that depends on the definition of 'Conservative'.

The Alliance and better yet, the Reform were the true conservatives - unlike the Tories who went red with Charest and then Clarke. It is because of Eastern bigotry the Reform could never make headway - because to you we are a bunch of rednecks out West. We know what you think of us. Hell, you guys put Trudeau into power - so I guess we shouldn't expect much.

What do you want? CP candidates to give you all blow jobs? Normal people vote for the party not the candidates anyways.

Not a chance. We are all socialists. Even of the 30% that vote CP, many are Western protest votes - people that vote NDP in provincial elections.
