If you are an American citizen, you should vote - regardless of the language you commonly use.

Good point. The US has no 'official' language, only a majority one.

I'm pretty sure there is a bill in the House to make English the official language, sponsored by Congressman Steve King. He got the same thing done when he was in the Iowa Senate.

It was overwhelmingly popular with the people, but Steve had to overcome the nasty inferences of racism by the liberal establishment to get it done. But he did. Forced a Dem Governor to sign it, even. Left him no choice politically.

I think all official government documents, including voting ballots, should be in English only.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't every Spanish-speaking nation in the Western Hemisphere, including Puerto Rico, AND MEXICO, have Spanish as its official language?

Why then should we not have English as our official language?
