Maybe she could team up with PeeWee for a sequel to his "Big Adventure."

Folks all over the place are aware of FR and I would venture a guess that more than one person at NBC has checked in to see how the Perky One does with some of the people out in the real world.Uh...this place is NOT the "real world" as evidenced by the hundreds of venomous Terry Schiavo threads...now thankfully in archives and off the forum.

I'm ashamed to say she graduated from the same college I did, the University of Virginia.

As an aside to this discussion, has anyone else ever noticed the #2 comment to most FR threads is consistently pithy, succinct, and dead-on? I get a lot of my left-bashing material just by collecting post #2 gems.

Today's chipmunk-cheeked, Clinton-loving perkette Great description. Can anyone do a cut and paste with Irving and Theodore?

But what I think has contributed to Katie's major loss of appeal is that millions of women have finally caught onto the liberal bias in much of her reportingBINGO

I guess "gummy" is cute to some. She IS short; but short alone isn't enough. She giggles while she twists the knives. How cute is that?

you know she's in trouble when the headlines degrade her from "perky" to merely "cute". Well, it's been quite a while since she was actually "cute" or "perky".

They have to toss this hag and give Ann Curry the job.If any NBC executives are reading this, please, please, please, please don't give Ann Curry the job. She is absolutely the worst interviewer I have EVER SEEN OR HEARD!!!!! EVER!!!!! Her breathless whisper of concern for any/all unfortunate people she interviews is vomit inducing. She leans in closer, touches them and says something stupid like "How do you feel knowing that your son drowned the cat, poisoned your dog and then killed his own grandmother? Are you upset at this sad turn of events". Her completely faux concern is unwatchable! IMHO she isn't talented enough for small town weather reports, much less national TV.

Katie Couric?....Never heard of her. She took over the spot originally filled by J. Fred Muggs on the Today Show on NBC.

This article reminds me of how much I miss Dave Garroway and his co-host, that celebrated journalist and prototype for all NBC reporters that followed. J. Fred MuggsYep. Dave Garroway had J. Fred Muggs and Matt Lauer has Katie Couric. She hasn't even lived up to the standard Mr. Muggs set.
