For the life of me, I can't figure out why Republicans are going along with this fishing expedition. It's absurd.

I agree. The Democrats have never agreed to anything like this in the past 12 years. ALL the fishing expeditions are organized by Democrats and against Republicans.

It's time to just say NO. The media backlash from refusing "investigations" would frankly be less than the media circus when investigations are held.

This is the most absurd bit of obstruction and grandstanding I've seen---and have you noticed how all of the rest of this will be "in secret" so that we the people won't be able to know what poppycock the "witnesses" that the dems are bringing in will spew--

Remember they won't be under oath---even though I remember when Bolton was being questioned, the dems wanted to force him to be put under oath TWICE, just in case the first time didn't "take" ---I am serious!!!

I still think Bush should make this a recess appointment--what the dems are asking for is ridiculous and EXPENSIVE as heck--OUT MONEY, FOLKS!!!

Voinovich and company are praying that Bolton withdraws so they can maintain their friendly relationships with their democrat pals. What a joke!

It looks like Senator Luger is getting rolled just like lots of other Rep Chairmen.

These are the guys that sat in the bleachers for years waiting to be Chairmen. Now look how they behave.

If it were me, all Reps would be on board. I would not wine and dine Voinivich or any other *itch. I would tell them the facts of life. The Chairman rules and that is that!
