Muslim men ... who played paintball games in 2000 and 2001 as a means of training for holy war around the globe
This just makes me laugh. Does that mean my children, when they play water gun games, are training for holy war?

But the judge left open the possibility that she will toss out some of the counts.
The jury reached its verdict after seven days of deliberations and convicted al-Timimi of all 10 counts. Ah, Sorry Judge, its TOO LATE to toss out some of the counts. The verdict is IN.

This type of advocacy speech (ie. killing Americans) borders on 'SEDITION'.

If this man is a U.S. citizen, his exhorting young men to kill Americans doesn't fall under "freedom of speech". I wonder what it will take for some people to wake up to the necessity of defending this country.

No wonder judges are losing credibility when they let a criminal free to roam and likely escape to his loved Muslim Utopia to continue training the gullible.
It is insane to give this scum freedom while awaiting his sentencing.

Al-Timini was convicted of charges including soliciting others to levy war against the United States and inducing others to use firearms in violation of federal law. The firearms convictions require mandatory life imprisonment.Uggh - that the firearms convictions have the most sentence weight. Or that we even have "firearms in violation of federal law" laws.
"Soliciting others to levy war against the United States" sounds bad enough to me.

Verily, no virtuous, voluptuous virgins numbering seventy and two will be awaiting the arrival of you. And who against thee shall committ this sin? Why, it's the Americans. Behold! My countrymen.

I wonder why these laws weren't used against Jane Fonda, Abbie Hoffman, or H. Rap Brown? I wonder if some of the From My Cold Dead Hands type of statements could be interpreted as soliciting others to levy war against the U.S.? Or as "inducing others to use firearms in violation of federal law" which "require mandatory life imprisonment"?
