My son just finished his post Afghanistan deployment leave. He has money burning a hole in his pocket and left me instructions to order him an AR10-TN or TBN tomorrow. When it comes in I am to take it to Krieger Barrels and have them put on one of their accurized barrels. He'll end up with about 3 grand in the weapon and probably another grand in accessories.
I'm jealous.

You wicked straw-buyer. Thank you for the services of your fine son. God Bless him and let's pray for a steady aim as well.

I'll be interested in knowing how a pro rates the AR-10.I have a carbine AR-10 and it has not always been as reliable as my M1A. Failure to extract has been a source of problems with the AR10 with certain ammo. However with the carbine length barrel and a muzzle brake it surely gets the attention of the guy shooting next to me on the range.
