What the heck is a "gay friendly" church?

Something similar to the Metropolitan Community Church?

The Metropolitan Community Church in our area hit the local headlines when a child who went to one of their fairs came home with a sexually explicit lollypop.

The best the "church" could come up with was that it wasn't sold to her, she "stole" it.

I guess not all church fairs are quite the same...
