Not a good sign for an incumb Dem in his most dangerous campaign, his first re-election.

Crist and Gallagher are fairly well known and if you don't think the GOP has taken all its hits on Social Security you are quite wrong.

The GOP has been demonized in the past month like crazy by the media over social security, terri shiavo, judges, and tom delay.

And Nelson is still down.

Sure its within the margin of error, but can't be good for Nelson.

The way Florida has been trending, any Democrat should be in trouble. The fact that he is down early may be a good sign, but there is a long way to go.

Gallagher will have huge gains when he brings out the Sledge-O-Matic

GOP has taken all its hits on Social Security

Also Florida is getting younger and less populated by people relying on social security.

Also, that Katherine Harris is seven points behind means nothing at this point. She has the biggest potential for an increase because she is the least "long-in-the-tooth" of the four mentioned. At the same time, her family's status within Florida's establishment erodes elite support that would otherwise go for the Democrat.
