Come, what's this all about?
=======
More clever Islamic deception !!!
Hmmmmm....I was sure CAIR would be supporting this event.
Yep. "Moderates" cannot change what Islamic "scripture" dictates. The extremists follow it to the letter, while the "Moderates" hope to achieve the same end through a slower plan, take over our governments schools etc. by occupying the positions and destroy us from within, slowly changing our laws, replacing them with theirs. It's what Muhammad first did when he moved to Medina.
moderate = nominal
Yep. "Moderates" cannot change what Islamic "scripture" dictates.
=======
"Believers, take neither Jews nor Christians for your friends." (Surah 5:51
"Make war on them until idolatry shall cease and God's religion shall reign supreme." (Surah 8:36-)
"...make war on the leaders of unbelief...Make war on them: God will chastise them at your hands and humble them. He will grant you victory over them..." (Surah 9:12-)
"If you do not fight, He will punish you sternly, and replace you by other men." (Surah 9:37-)
"Believers, make war on the infidels who dwell around you. Deal firmly with them." (Surah 9:121-)
"Fight for the cause of God with the devotion due to Him...He has given you the name of Muslims..." (Surah 22:78-)
"Muhammad is God's apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another." (Surah 48:29)
And on and on it goes in the Islamic BuyBull ( the Koran ) !!!
Digging it.
Ping!
Keep an eye on UCSB and Santa Barbara City College ping!
I really hope there is a good showing for this event.
Thanks for the ping Mr. Silverback.
De nada, Connie.
BTTT for anti-terror!
BTT!!!!!!
Its about time. Just as the Iraqi Muslims are turning on the terrorists, so are the American Muslims.
The light at the end of the tunnel may not be the light of an oncoming train.
Why am I on this ping list?
One of the Free Republic Networks partners, Free Muslims Against Terrorism, is holding an anti-terror rally in DC n May 14th. It is a worthwhile event and it would be nice if we could get some local FReepers to attend.
While you keyboard cowboys throw stinkballs from the cheap seats the sober among us will continue to com eup with ideas and work for permanent change in the Islamic community that doesn't involve nuking 1 billion people.
The change is already happening. Democracy in Afhganistan and Iraq. Peaceful (well, so far at least) power transition in Lebanon. Disarmament and global engagement by Libya. Turkey in NATO. Islamic Albanian troops supporting U.S. forces in Iraq, etc.
Women are getting the vote in Kuwait. Multi-Party elections are about to be held in Egypt. And Saudi Arabia is at war with Al Qaeda.
Lets also not forget that Pakistan has been sending its Army against the Taliban and Al Qaeda, permitting U.S. operations and fly-bys, as well as backing off of its Kashmir provocations with India.
This is historic progress...it is a major change in Islamic sentiment and actions from a mere 5 years ago. This much cultural change takes time, too. No doubt more good news will likewise follow at even faster rates.
It was U.S. personnel and supplies aiding the Tsunami victims, not Bin Laden, too. More than a few people around the world took permanent note of that fact.
Yes, but the knuckle draggers won't be happy until we're at all out war with a billion people. Of course, they will enjoy the show from their easy chairs and let our military boys and girls take the brunt of it.
People say radical things on-line that they'd never say to anyone in person. That's the nature of chat rooms. Don't let it get to you. The real world is less radical than what you see on-line.
