On second thought, they might phaze out the Current Win XP Pro (32bit)and the new 64bit will retain the current name (win Xp Pro).

the first 64-bit Windows desktop operating system, Windows XP Pro MS had a 64bit version of W2K out 4 or 5 years ago. But I guess that wouldn't qualify as a desktop o/s.
