"Passover is about a promise and hope for the future in the form of the Messiah. Other than Messianic Jews, Jews missed out on the obvious fact that Jesus christ was and is the Messiah. The passover set the nation of Israel free from Pharoh and Jesus can set them free from their sins."

I'll repeat what Malakhi said: "NEWSFLASH: Jews don't believe in Christianity. Get over it already."

Here's part of the reason why: http://www.jewsforjudaism.org/web/handbook/s_messiah.html

Basically, the dead Jewish guy that you have chosen to worship didn't meet any of the qualifications of being the Moschiach except being Jewish. He wasn't a descendant of both King David AND King Solomon on either his mother's or father's side; he didn't bring all of the world's Jews back to Israel; he didn't build the 3rd Temple (which would've been a neat trick, as the 2nd was still standing for a generation after he died; he didn't obey all Jewish laws (and, in fact, advised people to ignore the entire Oral Law, which is just as Divinely valid as the Written Law); he didn't resurrect all of the Jewish dead; etc., etc.

There have been many false Moshiachs throughout the ages. Their failure to achieve ALL of the prophecized goals made them false, no matter that some of them may have been very good people with the best of intentions (just as some were quite delusional, as were their followers).

Any person is free to believe whatever they'd like to. However, a belief system dependent for its basis on Hebrew scriptures CANNOT (if it has any logical consistency) pick and choose only the convenient parts of that theology, let alone twist the meaning of those selected parts beyond all recognition of the very People that has studied that theology for thousands of years. The Hebrew scriptures, which were transmitted by G-d to the Jewish People through His servant, Moses, are very definite in indicating that G-d would NEVER AGAIN (after Sinai) establish a chosen people or favored religion. G-d doesn't lie, nor is He an "Indian-giver," so Judaism is IT, like it or agree with it or not. The doctrine of supercession is bunk, as the Hebrew scriptures are clear that G-d will punish the Jews for deviating from His laws, just as a parent will punish his/her children for not listening, but that the Jews will always be His favored nation...and if you look at history, the very survival of the Jews (in violation of every single rule out there) testifies to this. Without G-d's protection, without Him adhering to His word without deviation, the Jews would long ago have ceased to exist.

This does not, of course, mean that non-Jews have no place in "The World to Come" (a.k.a. Heaven). Observance of the 7 Noahide Laws gets you there.

To repeat: "NEWSFLASH: Jews don't believe in Christianity. Get over it already."

Jews believe in the coming of the Messiah, and that when he does come, he will get everything done on the first try.
