3,000 years from now, scholars will ridicule accounts of America's founding as unfounded rubbish.

Passover is about a promise and hope for the future in the form of the Messiah. Other than Messianic Jews, Jews missed out on the obvious fact that Jesus christ was and is the Messiah. The passover set the nation of Israel free from Pharoh and Jesus can set them free from their sins.

Interesting how the Passover and resulting destruction of the Egyptian army coincide with the end of the Holocaust and Germanys defeat.

Indeed, even this article makes it more complicated than it is. The Jews celebrate Passover because in the Torah, G-d ORDERS them to do so.

There are many holidays to celebrate this or that or mark this or that occasion. There are few, even in Judaism that occur because the Deity INSTRUCTS the People to celebrate it and gives them detailed and lengthy instructions as to HOW to celebrate it. In fact, the following of the instructions becomes a central theme of the celebration.

I love Peshach and I celebrate it, vicariouosly, but celebrate it I do nonetheless. Because I am a Follower of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Moses.
