I was the little brother back then, and so was relegated to sitting in the very back seat, which faced out the back window. That situation made me a little ill more than once ! I always liked sitting in the middle-back seat so that I could look out the 'moonroof' !

I was the middle kid so I got to alternate between the Jump-seat and the middle seat in my parents '66 Vista Cruiser.

I bought my father-in-law's '70 Vista Cruiser when he
had to have something else to pull a longer travel trailer.
That '70 Vista Cruiser felt like my "Major Award".
I had finally arrived! My beautiful wife looked like
a suburban empress behind the steering wheel of that
land-yacht.
