that's a problem with the internet.

i still think there's a valid question about why they let that lady sheriff's officer alone with this guy. apparently he had become a favorite of both law enforcement and the legal community, in effect disarming them with his personality.

on the other hand, some one on this forum, who lives in atlanta, said that the sheriff's dept there has some problems.

We definitely agree on that. They never should have assigned only one deputy to handle someone like Nichols. I hope they learned, but it's terrible that it cost lives for them to learn this.

IIRC there was supposed to be another officer there. He begged off at the last minute.

Historically violent offender, large buff guy, uncontrolled area, felony charges.

Three officers when the cuffs come off, minimum.

Sorry, why is that a problem with "the Internet"?
Maybe if you hip young things write proper english, those of us who don't "speak" hiphop internet could keep up!
