Its been a quiet victory. We've withdrawn out of Bosnia except for a couple hundred troops training the Bosnians and trying to hunt down Mladic & Karadzic.
all the European nations (sans Blair maybe) and most MSM and moderate to Left think tanks have been screaming that W's withdrawal mode in the Balkans is all wrong
Haven't seen this--the EU took over in Bosnia & Macedonia pretty willingly. And although we're now down to about 1,800 American troops in Kosovo, that may be different. The USA is very well respected & liked by the Kosovar Albanains, so most solutions for a continuing presence--even with putting the EU in charge--also include a US contingent as a guarantor of Albanian good-will.
