I'm sorry, but they're choosing Canada because we aren't "peaceful" and "tolerant" and socialist enough.
Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are much easier to immigrate to than the U.S.
I think they had a better shot at getting accepted by Canada. Some immigrants prefer Canada over the US because of false perceptions of our society. I don't think the foreign press does a good job of portraying our society anymore than the MSM does.
