I actually heard her say on one of the book tour interviews that her activities "hurt her father very deeply."
Supposedly, that "On Golden Pond" movie was supposed to be a kind of act of reconciliation on her part, just before Henry died. If I'd done something like that to my father, I would be curled up in a hole somewhere for the rest of my life, but she's walzing around making money on a screw ball book, which would be of no significance whatsoever, if her name weren't Fonda! That also irritates me.
