Not of some gubmint bureaucrat either. It's the job of the PARENTS. The principal ought to sue them for the kid's destruction.
At that point the police were just there for damage control. And to give the poor girl, and her folk(s), a glimpse of her future....
Or they could have called in someone with a tranquilizer gun, using a child size dose, of course. When people act like animals they should expect to be treated like an animal.
