She was near terrorists for her entire time in Iraq, and $50 says that she knew the terrorist who killed her. $50 more says that she was the spotter for that car bomber, or part of a plan to distract convoy security (you know, that whole "blonde drives by and waves and smiles" sort of trick).

I myself thought it was kinda funny about her bad luck, being in the wrong place at just the wrong time..

But I don't think that she was an active participant in killing Americans. I think she was just a typical good hearted but misguided peace activist who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

She could very well have met and helped the person or persons who set off the explosion that killed her and her driver.

For someone who was complaining about American bombs and missles killing civilians, she became an example that the terrorist's Rules Of Engagement sure don't make allowances for non-combatants in the kill zone when setting off an ambush...

When these kind of things happen, I do wonder if God is displaying a sense of humor...

Don't be so sure about that- the typical peace activist is anything but peaceful. These critters know what they're doing, and the one who did the 'lovebug smash' in Iraq recently is into several of these groups- she's not just some sweet but ditzy schmuck who naively stumbled into one group on a whim. These are interconnected cells of terrorists and propagandists of terrorists and they're not really delicate in language or shy about their goals so it's unlikely there are too many members who don't know what they've gotten themselves into. They're not real peace activists [they are violent], they're not real environmental activists [they don't know squat about the outdoors], they are just communist activists peddling their failed ideology in small bites and different artificial flavors so it doesn't stink as much as the product would if sold openly and whole.

Another Code Pink ally is Medea Benjamin’s group Global Exchange, which has strong ties to the communist Workers World Party. Imbued with a deep hatred for the United States and capitalism in general, Benjamin is a pro-Castro activists who lived in Cuba (and was married to a Cuban) was a principal organizer of the 1999 Seattle riots in which some 50,000 protesters wreaked havoc and tried to shut down the World Trade Organization meetings. Throughout the 1990s, in fact, many of the Marxists currently working for Code Pink were busy organizing anti-free trade protests – some of them violent – and filing numerous high-profile lawsuits that forced American corporations to spend enormous sums of money to defend themselves. When we examine the backgrounds of Code Pink’s major players, we find that they have very little in common with “average, everyday, concerned” American women or activists just interested in peace.

Jodie Evans, for instance, sits on the board of directors of the Rain Forest Action Network (RAN), a coalition of anti-capitalist, anti-corporate environmentalist groups. RAN’s co-founder Michael Roselle also founded the Earth Liberation Front, which the FBI ranks alongside the Animal Liberation Front as the foremost domestic terrorism threats in the United States. According to the FBI, during the past seven years those two groups have been responsible for more than 600 criminal acts and $43 million in damages. And in 1985, Code Pink spokeswoman Sand Brim, who was then the executive director of Medical Aid, flew an American neurosurgeon to San Salvador to operate on the combat-wounded hand of Marxist Revolutionary Party Commander Nidia Diaz, whose group had recently murdered four American Marines and nine civilians. (MASH star and celebrity “antiwar” activist Mike Farrell assisted in the general’s surgery.) ------------- "Jodie Evans: Activist in Pink," 2003By John Perazzo, Frontpagemagazine.com, December 8,
