These ladies are getting very active. Their website will really tick you off.
CODEPINK Campaigns List of current campaigns for Code Pink They are getting started with the counter-recruitment movement. They are going to protest outside of Military Recruiting Stations.
The Aid to Iraq can be found there too.
I've been hoping that someone would point this out. The same goes for the wealthy libs. Marla was a relatively impecunious foot soldier for the socialist "one world" leftist cause. What's funny - as an amusing image - is conjuring up the arrest and "elimination" of the big shots like Michael Moore, Jeaneane Garafalo, George Soros, Babs Streisand et al. They don't seem to perceive that if islamofascism succeeds with their new global Caliphate, they'll be among the first to go. Their assets will be confiscated and they'll be fed, head first into new and improved human shredders, as masked monster-mash goons chant, "ALLAH AKBAR!"
Yet, these well heeled yammering dolts - like Marla Ruzicka - are working like drone bees to establish "the new world order" which they won't participate in, because, as you say, "TheOldLady," they'll be the first to be permanently silenced. They all suffer from incomprehensible myopia. Like lemmings, they are rushing toward the cliffs with ghoulishly maniacal enthusiastic chanting of their mantra. "War is not the Answer.....Peace and social justice for all!" - Yeah, when pigs fly, or when Muslims start eating pork from dead flying pigs.
While its a sad day when any American gets killed by Islamic terrorists, its measurably less sad when that American aided and abetted themand belittled our troops.
I just can't find it anywhere in my heart to be sad she's dead. What can I say? My give a damn's busted.
See #83. Buh bye.
I can't be sad that she's dead either. In fact, any mourning that I do is because people like her exist in the first place.
In the 1980s I read a book called "The Beautiful Side of Evil" by Johanna Michaelsen. (I just checked Amazon and it's still in print! http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN=0890813221/lazy-20 In fact, the first review on the Amazon site convinces me how correct the author is. If I recall correctly, the book is primarily about how drugs and/or alcohol shut the Holy Spirit out of the author's life and left her wide open for what she says is akin to denomic possession. I don't pretend to know all of the reasons why evil exists in the world, but I know enough to know that it isn't "God's fault." When someone's choice is to reject God, their perceptions change and they can get sucked into all sorts of distortions. IOW, unless they get it, they don't get it. How else can you allow for the complete lack of logic in some people's lives? The lack that causes them to lose sight of "the first against the wall" concept. And causes them to see evil as good, and vice versa.)
I know exactly what you mean. I really do pray that our enemies will have a change of heart but that doesn't mean I have to have pity when they are killed while working against our troops.
I got to see a troll's post!!!
Usually they're gone by the time I get there.
Is that written specifically for women? My youngest grappled with just how evil people can be after his time in Afghanistan.
The book isn't specifically written for women. (In fact, the second review that showed up when I went to the page -- and that gives the book five stars -- is written by somebody named "Timothy.")
It's been so long since I read the book that I can't remember all of the specifics, of course, but based on what I can recall, the author tells how drugs distorted her perception of good and evil. However, I also believe that she also makes parallels about other ways one can become "desensitized" to where things seem less evil, which is the first step toward going from rejecting something to accepting. I often cite how far films have come since Clark Gable as Rhett Butler first uttered "damn" in a film. Probably a better example would be to compare how when I was in HS in the 1960s, "good girls" didn't even say "sex" out loud; we'd lower our voices and spell out the word ("s-e-x"). Now we have the f-word used openly in music meant for preteens and teenagers, and (thanks to the impeached forner president) the names of sex acts said openly on newscasts.
IOW, the book may not necessarily speak directly to what your son is grappling with, but I believe it'd provide a step toward that understanding. (That *is* part of the problem. Good people will always have trouble understanding why evil people act the ways they do; that evil behavior is so far removed from how good people operate. But, hate the sins but love the sinners doesn't mean that we refuse to accept that sometimes sinners need to be brought to justice. That justice is our way of overturning the money-changer's tables at the temple, imo.)
Thinking that someone who saw that the people (and I use that word loosely) who hung burnt bodies from bridges can be equated with providing "aid [to] innocent people" and that Schiavo was about "the so-called 'culture of life,' crying crocodile tears over a brain-dead Florida woman" just proves that you don't get it.
bye bye troll
ROFLMAO!!!
Friendly fire indeed...by a car bomb, but the DUmmies will still say the U.S. military shot her.
Sheesh!! Trolls are out in force! Must be a slow day for um, playing with one's self. That's 4 on this thread alone!! Or the same one reincarnated. Morons.
And we care what they say because.....? *G*
Who said anything about caring?...I'm simply making a prediction.
It's amazing how much they can get typed using only one hand, isn't it? (Of course, it helps that they seldom use much punctuation.) ;)
And most likely a correst one at that!
