There are some good signs around. NAMBLA got busted big time under international law. Old pharts were traveling to a suburb of Mexico City to screw little boys. The US and Mexican governments waited until every link was established. Then the police forces of both countries made arrests at the same time in both countries. It was like clockwork.
Now put the coffee down and make a move on those drug gangs, guys!
Such a move will be made on the drug guys, as soon as both governments find a way to survive or even thrive without all the benefits they derive from the drug traffickers.
I am talking legal jobs, like those in the DEA, local police forces, prison systems, hospitals, rehabilitation centers,, the coast Guard, the Border patrol, etc., etc. Can anyone comprehend the number of lawfully employed who would be immediately unemployed as result of a victory in the drug war?? Not even counting the street punks and their families who would move back on welfare, if their careers as dope pushers was suddenly eliminated.
The Mutha of all depressions would quickly ensue.
