According to former Russian Prime Minister Viktor Chernomyrdin, now Russian ambassador to Ukraine, Georgia is more to blame for the Soviet genocide against Ukrainians than Russia. Chernomyrdin told journalists, "If we speak about terror in the times of the U.S.S.R., as a result of that, the number of Russians killed was far greater than that of Ukrainians. We still cannot answer to our people for that. If anyone is to receive claims, address them to Georgia, the 'father of nations' Joseph Stalin was from that country." During the U.S.S.R.'s 1932-1933 collectivization drive, an estimated 5 million to 7 million Ukrainians in the "bread basket" of the U.S.S.R. perished during a famine deliberately instituted by Stalin.

Sure, why not? But, they need to accept the responsibility that comes with it. Right now they're making really stupid mistakes as far as their neighbors are concerned. It's time for Putin to fire some advisors...
I'm glad to see that you can at least finally admit that we are enemies!
Why do we sell F-15s to Saudi Arabia?
Like I said - I am just pointing out hypocrisy. Be ready to blame or praise all sides.
Yeah right, it's all for the money, not because they want to counterbalance America's power in the world, as they've repeatedly stated is their goal, which is supported wholeheartedly by their sycophants, Chavez, Mugabe, Kim, and Chirac!
The cold war WAS over, but stupid Putin has brought it back! The result will be the same!
jb6 defends Stalin from charges of Anti-semitism. (Stalin supported Israel!)
jb6 defends Stalin's body count (He couldn't possibly have killed THAT many)
Stalin had two things going for him that endeared a desperate people (He was so austere and unyielding!)
So by your words, I guess the Nazis weren't that bad to you?
BTW Is someone, who kill 3 people in 2 hours better than someone, who kill 4 people in 10 hours ?
No, I'd say they're worse.
Got the proof yet? We're all still waiting.
This is your proof? Oh gads are you full of it. Go read some books. Go read "The German Generals Speak." Written from british interviews with captured German generals starting in 1942. The German generals admitted that if the British had shown any resolve in the Rhine they would have used that as an excuse to remove Hilter and bring back the Kaiser.
Gads, you really are full of it.
Or do you dispute the historic fact that Chamberlaine turned down Stalin's offer for a tripple alliance against Hitler in the mid 1930s?

The lands that Stalin took, look a little closer: are Ukrainian and Belarussian lands, that Poland took in 1919. In exchange, in the long run, Poland was given German Silesia and East Prussia.

Nice try, dispute that those lands were Ukrainian and Belarussian. Lvov was the main Ukrainian oblast. In return the Polish were given historic Polish lands in Posen, Silasia and Prussia. Or do you dispute those lands. Oh and by the way, this is not defending Stalin and Hitler's partition of Poland, since obviously Poland exists and received territories. So your lies still stand. Surprise surprise. Boy you're digging, as usual.

They were allies but out of necessity. In 1937 Stalin went to Britian and France to form a new alliance to curtail Germany. When he was rebuffed by Chamberline and his ilk, he went to Germany to buy himself time to build up and attack them. Not excusing Stalin for his crimes and those are legion, but a lot of WW2 could have been avoided if France and England had had a spine.

This is defending Stalin? Oh gads, you are pathetic.
"Look what they made me do"
To: swilhelm73
True, they did, and not excusing Stalin, but he did that after England and France turned him down for an alliance to hem in Germany. They were hoping that Stalin and Hitler would just have their own little war and leave them be. This might be why they didn't give Poland any aid, hoping the two would go at it.

Again, you can't pin anything so you try to take things out of context but even there you fail as miserably as usual. You are worth the entertainment value.
