Have you ever overlaid a US pollution/smog map over the county by county voting results map? It is funny how the blue matches almost perfectly with the amount of pollution...

Perhaps, but Texas remains the dirtiest state that I have ever visited. Garbage and ltter everywhere.

I travel A LOT and I keep coming back thinking how clean Texas is (for the most part..) Sure, there are some little redneck towns like Ore City and Crosbyton that are nasty but traveling most of the interstates, it seems very clean.. I personally think Dallas and Houston are far cleaner than LA, NYC or San Fran, but that is just my opinion..
