This is total B.S. 60 minutes had a whole segment on illegals last night. The reporter did the same exact thing. He was on a ranch, stepped over a fence, said now I'm in Mexico, stepped over the fence again said now I'm in the U.S.

This picture shows how it works here in the local area. The south edge of the border monument marks the actual border line. The fence is approximately three feet inside inside this country, allowing repairs without encroaching on Mexican soil. Further, there is a 60-foot public easement for the length of the line here, allowing for the existence of the border road and turn-around points for vehicles. Three feet south of the fence and 57-feet north of the fence.
