I agree the thought of someone like that trying to hurt her makes me glad I own a gun.
This kind of act brings out the basest instincts in me as a parent.
For that I do not apologize.....,
My girls are 17 & 13. For them I have remain vigilent and sober. My watchdog is alert and the guns are ready.
To any Freepers prison, please assist in paving the road to hell for child molesters and murderers.
Never apologize for the instinct to protect any child against predators by whatever means necessary...it is the highest instinct of a woman and the MORAL DUTY of all human beings.
Imo one can be a fully humane being and yet be resolute in determination that if they ever witness a defenceless child being preyed upon they will defend innocence by utterly destroying the predator immediately whatever it takes.
I'm glad you have a gun to do that with if necessary...there is no better reason for a parent to be armed [or for that matter teachers, caregivers and society at large; let predators beware an armed populace of the Just watching over the Innocent] but whatever is available in the moment; blades, sticks, stones, bare nails to the eyes and teeth to the throat if necessary, will serve...
The instantaneous FEROCITY of a lioness or Kodiak sow protecting her cubs is the only appropriate response to such inhuman monsters.
