Planetary alignment caused tsunami: Scientist

The deadly tsunami on December 26, 2004 was the result of Saturn, Moon, Earth and the Sun falling in a straight line, claims a retired scientist of Department of Atomic Energy.

Paramahamsa Tewari, who supervised construction of Narora and Kaiga atomic plants and authored controversial "space vortex theory", says his conclusion about the cause of tsunami stems from his theory that all spinning cosmic objects including the Sun develop electrical fields that repel each other.

On the fateful day, Saturn, Moon, Earth and the Sun were perfectly aligned. As a result, Earth was subjected to the repulsive electrical force of the Sun on one side.

But the balancing force on the other side due to Saturn was very much reduced as it was shielded by the Moon, which does not spin and therefore has no electrical repulsive force on its own, he claims.

Tewari says the resulting "imbalance" of electrical repulsive force pushed solid earth away from the Sun, causing sea water to overflow due to its fluidity creating a tsunami.

The accused. "I had only had one drink your honor, However,Saturn, Moon, Earth and the Sun were perfectly aligned that day and my normal human level of blood alcohol overflowed because of some kind electro some-tha-other. I read about it on FR. Some dude from India figured it out."
The judge. " I read the same thing you dope. A year in the county lock up. Good news though. No porn but you can get FR on our jail house computers."

Of course, the earth, sun, and moon are aligned twice a month, every month, and Saturn joins the alignment twice a year, every year.

The 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake was an undersea earthquake that occurred at 00:58:53 UTC (07:58:53 local time) on December 26, 2004.

Full Moon on 26 December 2004 at 10:06 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (16:06 UTC).

Thus, while the quake happened the same "day" as the full moon, it was off by 16 hours (9 orbital degrees).

The opposition of Saturn was January 14, off by 19 days (19 orbital degrees.)

This is the scientific equivalent of seeing the Virgin in a cheese sandwich.

I'd like to ask the guy why the heck the quake did not happen when the closer and more massive Jupiter was at opposition last April?

Today I learned that water is a fluid. Thank you scientist!

Even if the Earth, Sun, Moon, and Saturn were "perfectly" lined up, they would not be in the same plane. The odds of all four being in opposition at the same time they are in the plane of the ecliptic is enormous.

Not to mention that the tidal forces of bodies other than the moon and sun are insignificant compared to variations from day to day and month to month from the Sun and Moon.

I don't know if he's responsible for the tsunami, but he's definitely a repulsive force!

It might be true. Can anyone negate the premise? Gravitational forces may have to do with geological forces.
