just send him back to the street but provide information on this guy
Nah! Why put the burden on otherwise law-abiding citizens.
Throw him in general population with his crime printed on his clothing in big black lettering.
The convicts will take care of the rest. And it won't be merciful.
Years ago I was in jail and there was a guy locked in a cell by himself because he raped a toddler. The gaurds took special pleasure in reminding us trustees why he was there. Every meal I served him over 6 months he ate off the floor.
The guards also liked to tell us about his very short life span when we were there at his cell.
