You're the joke. You have no decent criticism of the computer, but try to denigrate it's users by association with libs. What are you, a Dimocrap?
As a 21 year Mac user, and as a more than, 21 year old short-haired, registered Republican, VietNam Campaign (WAR), Purple Heart Awarded, Navy Veteran, general contractor/land developer from North Carolina/West Virginia/Arizona/New Mexico, I can officially, and honestly say, kiss my grits, and go play with your windoze...!
Trolls are everywhere. But, some have no reason for existance!
I wear both pony-tails and sandals, but I don't go to Berkeley. So you are 2/3 correct.
P.S. I'm a right-wing whacko, OEF vet....
That stock payment was a quiet out of court settlement of various patent infringements that Microsoft was working out with Apple. At the time, Apple had several billion dollars in cash or easily liquidated investments. The $150 million was a token to seal the deal between Apple and Microsoft. Apple dropped the lawsuits, and Microsoft agreed to release MS Office '98 for Macintosh.
(Microsoft was nearly done or was done with development of their Office product for Macintosh at the time, but threatened to withhold or scrap it. Apple caved and agreed to deal and dropped their lawsuits. The $150 million is not and was never what saved Apple or revitalized the company. The main credit goes to the release of the iMac and the timely release of Microsoft Office '98. Without both of those, Apple would've been in serious trouble.)
