I don't think that's true... That would apply only if she were tasking insulin. Most diabetics have type II. If she was type I and cut out the insulin dhe'd still be OK.di

It is true to an extent. If your blood sugar goes too low, you can become comatose. Drs. can bring it back up again but this is really dangerous.
