I heard that recording on a show PBS ran the other day (within the last week), but I cannot recall what program it was. It was high quality and sounded as if it had been recorded yesterday.

Here's what I can find so far (apparently you can hear the recording on this site -- it's NPR, not PBS, but PBS did have a show about Lincoln recently:

After twice listening to the NPR version of the Howell recording I was struck by the absence of any reference by Mr. Howell to fighting for states rights, as noted in the text of the article.

Could this possibly be another example of selective editing by the politically ever-so-correct leftist media.
