I call him The German Shepherd, and believe he was the perfect choice...after all, he spent 23 years as a watchdog over Church's dogma.
Seriously, even though I am not Catholic (raised Baptist), I just don't understand these people. I saw a nun on TV last night that was complaining because she had been reprimanded by him in the past for ministering to homosexuals. She said that the Pope should take into consideration the beliefs of the people. That's just crazy. The Bible is clear about homosexuality and sanctity of life issues. This is not a democracy and I don't believe God will appreciate those that make the rules up as they go.
Wonder if he'll do something robo like to the "popemobile!"
