I know Delta Twp well. Ton of state workers there, and it's the only area I know that can elect someone like Sue Tabor and Rick Jones, and turn around and vote for Granholm(although Bush won there barely).

I've been tempted, but most of my connections are here at home, and it's who you know as much as what you know. I also may run for office at some point, and carpetbaggers are frowned upon.

Yep. My dad was director of Public Information under that crook Richard Austin. Miss the landscape of the UP, but little else. Most of my family still lives there. Oh well
