I thought I was the only one that liked The Commish. That was good show. Hard to believe that Chiklis was only 29 when he got that job. He looked 49.

He does have that Dick Clark phenomenon going on, where you're not able to pinpoint his age because he looks exactly the same from year to year.

I've heard that he sports a bald pate for his new role, though.

I suppose that's a reflection of his vicious, "bad cop" demeanor in that show.

I'm kind of sad that Steven Bochco has finally retired NYPD Blue.

From my perspective, that was his finest hour as a producer, even though the show never quite recovered from the departure of Jimmy Smits.
