Gal 5:16 is speaking to the people "who follow this rule"..what rule? Ones for whom circumcision nor uncircumcision mean anything (Gal 5:15)...christians...those who boast in the cross of Christ. (Gal 5:14)

You must take into account who Paul is talking to. Believers in Christ.

Paul's example was to make it clear that people must act from the heart, not by birth, correct, but it has absolutely zero to do with Isrtael supplanting the Church.
