I've been hearing for years that even though they're in the majority in both houses they still talk and act like the defeated minority party. I'm beginning to see what the talking heads mean by that.

Hey Howlin...when you post make sure you wave to your LP stalker. You know he's tracking your every post! ;) LMAO!!!

Well, folks, here is more proof that the connection between being a conservative and a republican (notice the little "r") is pretty tenuous.

Now, when a liberal tries to insult me by calling me a republican, I think I will be insulted.

Seriously, look at it this way. When the Dims are in majority they are advancing their agenda. When pubs are in majority, the Dims are still advancing their agenda. Someone clue me in as to what benefit we are getting from have "republicans" in the majority (certainly not in control).

Prescription drug Frankenstein, millions of illegals flowing in, insults from the mexican president (and we turn the other cheek, or bend over more accurately), an education bill nightmare written by Teddy K (who then walks out and immediately savages Bush}, one nominee after another crapped on and publicly slandered (with weinie support from the pubs).

Tell me something. Other than having a chief that isn't getting hummers in the oval office & selling technology to the ChiComs, what just exactly are we getting from (in my case, 3 decades of) consistant, loyal support of the republican party? Outside of (and it is significant, I'll admit) foreign policy with some nads, we ain't getting jack.

Oh, yeah, all the spineless pub senators are still living the life they love.

You know what stupid is??

It's a dog (that's you and me BTW)that gets hit everytime it comes to the door. And, after 500 times of that, still comes to the door expecting food and attention. If it hasn't happened the last 500 times, it surely isn't gonna happen now, or in the future.
