OK..here's what we know..Senate is in recess for the weekly party caucus luncheons. Supposed to resume at 2:15. on C-span 2.. The Foreign Relations committee is supposed to meet at 2:45 to vote on the Bolton nomination. Lugar has refused requests for a delay. Just before the Senate recessed, Reid objected to Frist's UC request for the Froeign Relations committee to meet today. Frist withdrew his request..
Can't imagine why this vote is taking so long---they were all just in the chamber for the quorum call vote---
Jeez, and it isn't just dems that are late to vote!!!
How 'bout some recess appointments then ...
I fully expect C-span to rebroadcast the SFR committee meeting sevral times..The Dems will probably bloviate before the vote..The House committees are far more fun. They lock Rangle out of the room..call the Capitaol polcie to keep him away,and then crazy Pete Stark punches a pubbie..the Senate is BORING by comparison..

take heart everyone... in years to come, with enough effort, the republicans may win control of both houses of congress and with a republican president in charge we won't have to deal with this sort of sophomoric antics that make our governing process seem silly and perpetually held hostage to the liberal democrats. Oh. We already "control" both houses. My bad.

Oh geeeze! Now Biden up, makes some off the cuff comment about criminal allegations, backs off the word criminal but says they are still allegations about Bolton being unfit. Oh, it's the allegations of the new Anita Hill girlie the RATS drug out into service.
