OK..here's what we know..Senate is in recess for the weekly party caucus luncheons. Supposed to resume at 2:15. on C-span 2.. The Foreign Relations committee is supposed to meet at 2:45 to vote on the Bolton nomination. Lugar has refused requests for a delay. Just before the Senate recessed, Reid objected to Frist's UC request for the Froeign Relations committee to meet today. Frist withdrew his request..
I hate to be the one who ruins it for you, but Biden's head does NOT blow off.
Voinovich sandbagged everyone.....and I mean everyone. Something fishy just took place.
OMG! This phony act of anger from plughead is hystericaly funny.
Ah, but, there is where this is gonna be fun, although we don't get to see the conferees get together---
The only reason that the Senators were allowed to add an immigration amendment on THEIR bill, is because the House let the Sensenbrenner "REAL ID" amendment attach to the Supplemental that THEY passed--it had been promised to him since before this session of Congress even got started...
AND his amendment has more to do with SAFETY and terrorism, because is requires all passengers on airlines (and prolly railroads, since they cross state lines) have a PICTURE Id that has been checked against the terrorism watch list and for any wants or warrents here in the US---
So, now the Senators feel that they can attempt to slip in any and all illegal amendments that cater to illegals to this bill---
If these amendments stay, like the Mikulski amendment, the House has vowed to not pass the bill out of conference---
IOW--this is far from over, yet!!!

But, mine might.
So what exactly happened? It sounds like the vote was delayed, but when will the new vote be?
Howlin I'm convinced someone got to Voinovich. From the time of the recess vote to the time he showed up in that committee room....with his tail between his legs looking like a whipped puppy.
That's what I thoguht was so funny! His mouth swallowed his face right after his eyes popped out of their sockets.
OK, now pay careful attention to Lugar at the very end, after Biden takes his manhood away from him, for when he says, "OK, we'll trust each other." It was the funniest part!
I dunno how we got where we are today, but this business about Carl Ford has been in the Dem queue for 3 years, according to a Google search.
It'll be interesting to hear the truth; we'll have to go look for it though; nobody else is talking about anything except the Pope.
Freaking troll..
My very first in before the zot??? Could it be? Be still my heart!!!
Maybe this will save my day!
He should be walking with a limp tomorrow.
I've never said this here, but I think there are a lot of skeletons in a lot of DC closets. These guys have been on the Hill for a long time....long enough for sexual liaisons of every kind, and financial hyjinx as well. That stuff was in the FBI files in the clinton White House. It has been used to blackmail Hill GOPers since 2001. And that's as close as I get to tin foil.
What the heck are YOU talking about?
We need to get out in front of the MSM before the next news cycle tomorrow morning.
