I hate to say it, but what someone else is wearing is no one else's business when the wearer is minding his own business. The Rabbi was wrong to pick a fight with the skinhead in an airport. It'd be different if the skinhead was outside a synagogue looking for trouble and then finding it but it sounds like the kid just wanted to get somewhere.
I've been traveling and had a-holes give me a hard time over my NRA lapel pin, my various GOP pins & ties, and etc.
I'd prefer to be left alone. But if someone really wants their ass handed to them I'm always happy to oblige.
What this Rabbi has now done is pick a fight with a guy who was (at least for the moment) minding his own business and expressing himself as he sees fit. Now the skinhead gets to go back and rile up his friends with a true tale of how one a-hole gave him a hard time.
Except to the skinheads this will be certain proof that ALL Jews are a-holes when, in fact, it is just certain that this one idiot is an idiot who started a fight needlessly.
I personally do not care if someone wears a swastika, flies a Confederate flag, or whatever the hell else they want to do so long as they don't pester anyone else about it. It is still a free country, last I checked, and unpopular opinions (such as those typically posted on this site every day) are to be allowed to those people who hold them.
Or just be truthful about it all and tear up the Constitution and open the concentration....err, "re-education" camps.
Of course, we'll be the first people in those camps.
Fine said that confrontation happened about 10 minutes after he first encountered Boswell.

Boswell was at the airport dropping off one of the people who spoke at a National Socialist Movement convention in Kansas City during the weekend, while Fine was catching a flight to New York.
Boswell was not catching a flight. He was dropping off someone who was on a flight. Why did Boswell hang around for 10 minutes after first encountering Fine, and then get in his face?
Right, because they didn't think that already. </sarcasm>
