I must also add that our church is NOT NOT NOT under the auspices of the Archbishop of Canterbury, just as it is not under Rome. Most here, I would hope, would understand that the Continuing churches are, by and large, not in communion with the Archbishop of Canterbury. (Nor, in general, with each other, though there is movement in that direction.) As being under the auspices of the AoC, technically only the Church of England is.)

Yep! I wrote that because all too often people assume that Anglican means that we are in concordance with the AoC, which we are not, and I have to explain to non-Anglicans that we have our own standing. I have been trying hard to figure out a way to explain it, but it gets difficult sometimes, and sometimes it is just easier to state the obvious.
