Vocations WILL increase as a result of this. And the mood in Rome among the orthodox and conservative-minded will be VERY upbeat and confident. It will raise morale on the right, no doubt about that.

There will be some smirking and gloating.

If Perky Katie is deeply saddened, I am all for him.

As my pastor said this weekend, hopefully the new pope will be one that is committed to the Bible and to Christianity.

We will see.
