When you fly over most European countries, all the buildings and streets down below are placed randomly, until you get over Germany. There, all the buildings and streets are perfectly lined up and everything is in exact order.

That's 'cuase they were all built in 1946-50.
One of my friends was on a business trip to Germany and he was still a little messed up with the jet lag. He was up late looking out onto the street and noticed a man pacing back in forth in front of his window. He started getting a little nervous thinking the guy was casing the hotel, but then the crosswalk signal changed and the man went across the street. There had been no traffic and had it been a typical US city I'm sure the guy would have crossed without waiting.
:)
Just like our sock drawers and kitchen cupboards. There is not Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in our family, there's just good order!! (ooops, gotta run and wash my hands...apologies to any real OCD sufferers!)
