God Bless Pope Benedict XVI!
Not sure why but I started crying when they first announced the news that there was a new Pope, then when they announced his name, and again when he began addressing the crowds. Very moving moment and I'm a Protestant!

so did i! although i was raised Catholic but became Protestant many years ago... for me it may be nostalgia... i don't know... i'm feeling very celebratory!
