Here's my opinion a 16-18 Year old kids makes mistakes, and don't have the best judgment which is why we don't even trust them with the vote. If He willingly joined the HJ, I imagine that upon maturing, he has repented from the sins of his youth.
I agree that his age was a factor in his judgment. Also, the fact that he was elevated by JPII helps immensely. But I object to the absolute lack of discussion on the issue. If you bring it up, you're a troll!
